Hidden Bathroom
Installation by Samuele Savio and David Lopez Quincoes
Forest has challenged its art director Samuele Savio and the architect David Lopez Quincoes to reinterpret the bathroom space with a minimal but luxurious installation, characterized by the presence of two glass boxes that keep the jewel inside just like shrines.
Thanks to a concept, which is at the same time sophisticated and charged with pathos, the installation skillfully blends the sense together, opposing glass transparency to the visual rigor of the partitions, and the museum-like silence to the unexpected vibration of the glass walls that magically turn into music. Forest gives the bathroom space a metaphysical and sacred dimension, suspended between ancestral rigor and metropolitan deviations. Forest surprises us again combining minimal luxury with design, technology with sense perception.
A metal disk and a membrane.
Two simple ingredients that turn a glass box into a resounding simulacrum.
